Dear Jeremy:
Now that all the myriad details of our move from an apartment in Manhattan to our new home in New Rochelle are behind us, I wanted to take a minute to write a note of thanks for everything you did to help us find our dream house.
You’ll recall that when we first met I was pregnant with our first child and still working in Manhattan, while my husband Michael was working in Westchester. We had visited many towns in the area and decided to focus our search on New Rochelle – now all we needed was an experienced real estate buyer’s agent.
After a number of interviews, we were lucky to find you among the agents who were recommended to us by family and friends. In the end, it was your honesty and market knowledge, combined with your Wall Street finance experience that sold us on your services.
With little free time to waste on the home search, we really appreciate how you previewed, visited, and selected properties that met our wish list. You never showed us a house that was a waste of time, never pressured us, and always listened to our needs and concerns.
Even when our first deal fell through due to a seller who put unreasonable clauses in the contract, you helped us through this stressful situation and advised us to walk away. Today, we’re very glad we did as you found us an even nicer home in town.
You saved us hours of time and trips from Manhattan by handing paperwork with the town of New Rochelle, and we’re very happy with the attorney, painters, and flooring contractor you recommended!
We’re looking forward to raising our son in this beautiful neighborhood, and we’ve already recommended you to our neighbors across the street who want to sell their home.
Sincerely,
Amy Tarlowe
